Wow, this band is still around? I didn’t like The Hives back when they were big in the US. Are they still big in the US? I don’t know, that’s why I was asking. Anyway, this is the band’s 4th full-length album and it’s actually not bad. I usually don’t like all those garage or Swedish bands, but the Hives’ “Black and White” album isn’t shitty like I thought it would be! I actually managed to listen to most of the album and that’s just a rare thing for me. The tracks are very catchy, almost to the point that I was already humming some of the songs. I was gearing up to hate this album but I actually like it. So yeah, if you like the Hives you’ll more than likely love this album.

Bottom Line: Thought I was going to hate this but yeah…I liked it.
