Let’s get this out on the table already, Time Again sounds like Rancid. But to me, it sounds like they are starting to evolve into something slightly more different than Rancid. They still sound Rancid influenced though, but it’s not AS evident. At least I think so. But with that out of the way, let’s talk briefly about their new album that came out in February.

Their second album off Hellcat Records starts off with “Day Like This” and it’s a rousing punk rock song that gets things off right. Their sound seems more harder now, but singer Daniel Dart tends to still sound like Tim Armstrong. I think he sounds like him the most on the song “Lines Are Faded.” I think one of the best songs on the album is the second track “Soon It Will Be.” I like the chorus & shout-outs and think it’s just a great track. I’m not sure if people will like this as much I did, but I think Time Again have released a great punk rock album. Awesome guitars & bass lines, kick-ass drumming and vocals that doesn’t get too irritating. Can’t beat that.

Bottom Line: Time Again come back with a strong second album
Notable Tracks: Soon It Will Be, Lines Are Faded, Gonna Get Mine
