I had heard good things about Tsunami Bomb, but somehow managed to miss hearing their stuff until now. Unfortunately, they don’t live up to the hype. They are, quite simply, boring.

The monotonous and unimaginative guitars drown everything else out, including Agent M’s voice, which is lovely but unfitting for punk rock. The songs aren’t as poppy as I had hoped; they’re all pretty sludgy and same-sounding. It’s possible TB got popular solely on Agent M’s good looks, because the music isn’t strong.
