Don’t get me wrong – these guys are more talented than I’ll ever be. They’re probably better looking than me too. But all the tempo changes and tone changes and vocal style changes within songs are a bit too much to keep track of. It makes 4-minute songs feel like little eternities. They’re great at what they do, but I need a little consistency in my life, what with this uneasy and unknown world we live in today.

Bottom Line: Keep it simple, stupid.
