This IS Victory World’s best release to date. So many top notch reggae artists and bands are on this comp. Sizzla, Capleton, Gregory Isaacs, Yellowman & Beenie Man, Black Uhuru, and Sugar Minott. According to the press release, “Punk Rock and Reggae have always had a close relationship and have shared a very parallel existence as the two genres have grown up. Victory World’s goal with this release is to make a new generation of youth aware and excited about great reggae music. For the first time in many years, reggae music is being marketed and promoted in an exciting, fresh way to a new and receptive audience.” I think they have pulled it off and I believe many punk and ska kids will jump up and get this CD. Songs that I thought stood out more were from Gregory Isaacs, Black Uhuru, Culture and Sugar Minott. Don’t be stupid, get this CD!
