Power pop has to be really good to garner my attention and then approval. These guys are really good.

Their first album reminded me of Hollies and Beatles-style pop, but here they’re even better with a pop style more reminiscent of Squeeze. Excellent songwriting, and a warm delivery that’s just powerful enough to keep it non-wussy. These guys would be a guilty pleasure if I felt at all guilty about it.
