This record was surprisingly not what I excpected. It’s not the usual Poppie Emo Punk rock with electric violin, so common to the California scene. This is scratchy melodic emo with the violin making the album very different. It’s their roots and their roots are not bad. Give it a listen because they sample Mortal Kombat!

Bottom Line: get it if you like yellowcard, it’s worth it
