The movie was enjoyable and I liked it a lot. It’s one of those heart felt type of movies but also has it fair share of laughs as well. I thought it was well acted, and I especially liked all the scenes involving my new crush, Kiera Knightley. I don’t care if she’s young, so are the Olsen Twins and I like them too so there! hahaha. ANYWAY, she and Parminder K. Nagra have good chemistry together. At First, I thought the coach had a fake Irish accent but I guess he’s actually from Ireland haha. If you are turned off by sports movies, there is actually not that many football scenes. It’s all the stuff off the field that makes the movie good and also makes the movie work. It gives the characters some depth, and shows the passion for the sport. So I was very pleased with the movie, it was a little girlie for me at times but overall I liked the movie. Now as far as extras go, I haven’t checked too many things out besides the deleted scenes (some okay) out but they have a bunch of stuff on here. I thought the end credits was funny with the outtakes and everyone singing along to an Indian version of “” I was actually surprised that I liked the soundtrack. It contained some poppy dance Indian music mixed with hip hop and it was very cool. I think the song was by Malkit Singh. I might have to check out some Indian music. Bend It Lick Beckham was enjoyable to watch and a good sports-themed flick.
