I’ve been looking forward to these DVDs being released for awhile now. If you have never seen any of these than you are missing out. These movies are the ones that made Eddie Murphy popular. I can’t figure out which one I like best. It’s definitely not the third one but I like the first and second movies a lot. I like when Axel is friends with the Taggert and Rosewood instead of fighting with them in the 1st one. But how can you not like the banana in the tail pipe scene in the 1st movie? Also, the 1st film has a better soundtrack. I even have that CD too! The transfer of the films get better as they get new. The extras are there but it’s not a lot. There’s only one or two deleted scene for the whole trilogy. That’s kind of a disappointment. And the deleted scenes that are on there aren’t the greatest either. There’s a funny featurette for the 2nd film, which Jerry Bruckheimer and Don Simpson are rocking out to the song “Shakedown.” Don’t buy these if you think there are tons of extras because there isn’t but the movies are why you are going to get this.
