Probably the one game I’ve anticipated so much I screamed when my store didn’t get it in the day it game out, and then almost had a heart attack when we got in the strategy guide…haha.

The main plot of the game, without giving too much away is Leon, from Resident Evil 2. He is now a government agent on a mission to save the Presidents kidnapped daughter. That’s all I can reveal about the plot right now, apparently though, everything ties in with the Resident Evil series so don’t be discouraged!

If you thought the zombies and hunters from the first games were bad, wait until you encounter the enemies in this one. The crazed villagers are the main enemies in RE4. What they are exactly, I don’t know. But, they’re smart….REAL smart. They’ll follow you up ladders, throw pitchforks at you, and jump through windows just to get to you. It’s amazing. Truly the most fun I’ve ever had playing ANY game.

Fans of the Resident Evil series will enjoy some of the features of this game. No more “you can only hold 6 items at a time”. Now you’re equipped with a rather large briefcase which fits a decent amount of weapons, more than any of the other titles. Tired of searching for all of the cool weapons? Search no more! All you have to do is collect the money you get everything you kill an enemy and purchase items such as a shotgun, and (best weapon of all…) a sniper rifle! It gets better….NO MORE INK RIBBONS! As soon as you find a type writer, you save…that’s it. No more annoying ink ribbons to search for and hold onto. Looks as if the creators took players complaints and fixed them making the game a hell of alot more enjoyable.

This game is a MUST HAVE for all video game lovers. It’s hands down the BEST game I have ever played. This is gaming, and survival horror at it’s best. BUY IT.

Bottom Line:
Favorite Aspects: Pretty much everything! The graphics, the controls, the storyline, the scares, it’s absolutely amazing
