Wow, was I disappointed with this film. I know Eddie Murphy can make better films than this. He’s one of my favorite comedians and this movie wasn’t that funny. They turned a good thing (dinner scene) with the first movie and basically did a spinoff and it didn’t work for me. There was some okay funny parts in it but I almost fell asleep. It was that boring!

I thought Larry Miller (the Dean, I think) had funnier lines than any of the Klumps. I couldn’t understand Granny Klump because Eddie Murphy was mumbling with her voice. Cleatus Klump was talking too fast, Buddy Love was louder and more annoying than he ever was. The story is about Sherman Klump having some Buddy Love DNA left over and he eventually gets cloned. Sherman develops a youth formula and Buddy tries to get his hands on, as well as some of the Klumps.

I thought Eddie Murphy should have developed a better story instead of trying to do almost every main character. It was definitely impressive to see how they did all the scenes with computers though. It also took a lot long to film since Eddie had to film all the scenes at a character a time. The first movie was very funny I thought and this one was extremely boring. Go see on a rainy day or in a discount theater.

Favorite Scenes: I like the Star Wars spoof or the part in the conference room with Buddy Love.
