Marvel's Daredevil teaser trailer

Video: Marvel’s Daredevil teaser trailer

Netflix is getting in on the Marvel fun and will be premiering it’s first series Daredevil in April. The teaser trailer was vined, teased to death yesterday or if you’re like me, just waited the next day to watch the entire thing. The series looks great and dark! Charlie Cox (Boardwalk Empire, Stardust) is starring in the lead role and co-starring is Deborah Ann Woll, Rosario Dawson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Scott Glenn and others. I’m sold as long as Jennifer Garner doesn’t appear as Elektra.

Creature’s Corner: October 2014…When Comic Book Movie News Broke the Internet Part Three: Fox & Sony Movies (Marvel’s Red-Headed Stepchild)

With Marvel’s shared cinematic universe being all the rage these days, everyone wants to jump on the bandwagon and try to tie their completely separate movie franchises together for some reason or another…mainly money.  While Fox owns the rights to the X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises and Sony owns everything Spider-Man there just doesn’t seem to be much of a universe for either studio to share.

Benedict Cumberbatch is playing Doctor Strange!?

That sound you hear is a collective Geekgasm around the internet, because Variety and Deadline is reporting that Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock, Star Trek Into Darkness, The Hobbit) is in talks to star as the title characters for Marvel’s Doctor Strange. Scott Derrickson will be directing the movie and there has already been a fair share of rumors about the role. Colin Ferrell, Johnny Depp, Joaquin Phoenix, Keanu Reeves have all been rumored for the role. So anybody breathing in Hollywood that had a mustache has been rumored. If this story is true, very cool stuff!

Video: Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron Official Teaser Trailer

“Dammit Hydra!” was tweeted out by Marvel tonight after the anticipated Avengers: Age Of Ultron was leaked online before it was suppose to air during next week’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. just can’t catch a break huh? The trailer looks awesome and mighty dark might I add as well. You get glimpses of the Avengers plus some new characters in there as well like Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and of course Ultron. May 1st 2015 can’t come soon enough!

Guardians of the Galaxy Blu-Ray announcement

Guardians of the Galaxy on Blu-ray Combo Pack coming out December 9th

“We Are Groot!” The best movie of the year, Guardians of the Galaxy, will be out December 9th on Blu-Ray combo pack via Disney/Marvel. It arrives even earlier on Digital HD plus Disney Movies Anywhere November 18th. I can’t wait to watch this over and over, because it was simply my favorite movie of the year. I’d even go as far as saying it’s my favorite comic book movie next to The Dark Knight. Guardians made over $645 million worldwide so I guess I’m not the only one thinking this was an incredible movie.

X-Men: Days of Future Past Trailer

Video: X-Men: Days of Future Past Trailer

The new X-Men: Days of Future Past trailer premiered this morning, and I’m really, really hoping this movie isn’t going to suck. The trailers we have seen doesn’t look like it will but you never know, trailers can be deceiving. You get more of an idea with the plot with the trailer, plus lots of quick glimpses of the characters in the movie (in’s a lot of them!). The one thing I’m kind of iffy on is the design of the Sentinels. Didn’t even know it was them until the end. I’m definitely excited for this movie and one of the few movies I care about this Summer so I just hope it doesn’t suck.
