LOS ANGELES, CA A mid-life crisis motivates three friends to test their limits during a hilarious cattle ranch adventure in City Slickers, arriving on Collector’s Edition DVD June 3 from MGM Home Entertainment. Starring Golden Globe nominee Billy Crystal (Mr. Saturday Night, When Harry Met Sally), Daniel Stern (Home Alone), Bruno Kirby (When Harry Met Sally) and co-starring Jack Palance (Shane) in his Academy Award winning performance as Curly, City Slickers is a fun, modern Western adventure where run-ins with outlaw cattlehands, treacherous natural mishaps, and the unexpected delivery of a newborn calf teach three city slickers how to appreciate Old West values and in turn, find a renewed sense of purpose.

City Slickers is ranked 86 on the American Film Institute’s (AFI) list of 100 Laughs and 53 on its 100 Film Scores list. The City Slickers Collector’s Edition DVD includes three all new featurettes – a revisiting of the making of, a tribute to Norman the newborn calf and real City Slickers turned cattle ranchers – deleted scenes, director and cast audio commentary, and more, and will be available for the suggested retail price of $14.98 US/$15.98 Canada.
