Carbon Leaf’s “Pink” available for Free in support of Breast Cancer Awareness

Folk rock band Carbon Leaf and their record label Vanguard Records are offering a free song for download in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. The song is “Pink,” which is about breast cancer. For every song that’s downloaded, Vanguard Records will donate $1 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. So even if you own the album already, why not download the song again in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. You can download the free track here.
Barry Privett of the band said this about the song “Pink” and the download:
“Along with some friends we’ve known who have struggled to overcome breast cancer, ‘Pink’ was inspired by the story of a fan of ours who developed breast cancer at a particularly young age. We were touched by her strength in documenting her own journey, and the amazing outpouring of support from her family, friends and community. We are honored to be involved with The Breast Cancer Site and the National Breast Cancer Foundation.”
Carbon Leaf has been touring with Stephen Kellogg and The Sixers, which that tour will be hitting NYC Thanksgiving weekend at Bowery Ballroom. Here are the remaining dates of the year for the band:
