Mike Park/Classics of Love tour starts today!
Music News | Apr 24th, 2009
Mike Park is touring with Jesse Michaels’ new band Classics of Love in Minnesota and Illinois for a few days. You might know Jesse Michaels from Operation Ivy and Common Rider. Mike Park, as you know, runs Asian Man Records and used to be in Skankin’ Pickle. After a few dates in the US, they are off to the UK for a tour. They don’t have any place to stay, so be sure to go out to their shows and offer them a place to stay!
Here’s what Mike had to say this morning in his newsletter:
I’m sitting at gate 15 at the MANCHESTER, NH airport. Getting ready to board a plane headed towards Minneapolis. Tour starts today at the Triple Rock. I dropped off my family at the in-laws and after a tearful goodbye, I drove away to my daughter waving from the window. Sniff sniff..
Anyways, just a reminder that I am playing shows. Hoping that you can check out the dates listed below and spread the word. As this is the only promotion I have. Word of mouth. Please say hi if you are at a show and yup. Be well, looking forward to meeting many of you.
Peace, mike park
