The Ska Revival Tour kicks off July 11th!
Music News | Jul 4th, 2014
The Ska Revival Tour featuring Survay Says! and The Last Slice kicks off July 11th at Stanhope House in Stanhope, NJ. The tour will also have special guests Be Like Max, The A-Oks, Kill Lincoln, The Snails, Joystick, Taj Motel Trio, Squirt Gun Warriors, No Such Noise and more!
It’s really not that ska left… that is not the point. The point is simple, over the past few years I’ve heard many people say the words, “no one is breaking out.” I’ve watched people try and reason why for a long while and decided, it’s time to try something different. We’re all doing similar things…but alone. Networking, but worrying about me first, that’s human nature though! This is The Ska Revival Tour. A tour featuring easily over 20 ska bands from around the USA at different times, even if only for a date or two. We chose to work together. It’s that simple. Why do this alone…when we can work together.
We will document this tour every step of the way. Booking… dealing with promoters… band politics….tour life…. show successes AND failures. Throughout the summer we will have daily video (hopefully) of what’s going on out there in our world. People will be able to follow us… and throughout all this, hopefully we can showcase the local communities across North America in a positive light.
Now lets have some fun.
There will be many more announcements in the near future. More bands. More shows. And probably a classic rant or two from yours truly. See you on the road.
