Versus The World will be hitting the road with Strung Out over in Europe this Summer. Plus, they have a new album, Homesick/Roadsick, coming out on June 23rd via Kung Fu Records.

Santa Barbara rock band Versus The World has announced plans for a European Tour with Strung Out this summer. The band will kick off the excursion in Berlin at the end of June with dates running through July.

Additionally, Versus The World has also revealed that their forthcoming, third full-length record, Homesick/Roadsick, will now be released on June 23rd via Kung Fu Records. The band recently premiered the album’s first new track, “The Santa Margarita,” which pays tribute to fallen friend Tony Sly (No Use For A Name) and features guest vocals by Dave Hause.

Comprised of veteran punk rockers, including members of Lagwagon and The Ataris, Versus The World has spent the last decade performing shows and recording music, and have often times found themselves in a thrilling paradox of wishing for a familiar bed on tour only to yearn to get back on the road after coming home. Hence the title of their latest record, Homesick/Roadsick.

Following their 2012 record, Drink.Sing.Live.Love., the band took some time off in 2014 to recharge and returned to the studio with renewed focus and recorded the new record with producer Thom Flowers (The Ataris, Lagwagon) and mixer Ian MacGregor (All American Rejects, Katy Perry).

After some time off from touring, Versus The World is ready to return to stage to perform their latest record for fans. Follow the band at https://www.facebook.com/vstheworldmusic for more information.
