Ooof, this is bad. It’s bad white boy rap delivered in a hipster swagger over a mix of bad Eurotrash club music and casio pop.

It’s not the blending of styles that’s bad – I like trip hop and I adore casio pop. But this is a textbook case of absolutely nothing of value holding up the shallowest of hipsterdom.

They are so unbearably bad, I would feel bad for them if they didn’t sound like complete schmucks. It’s rare to hear this level of self-love and “Oh god, I’m so unbearably cool” outside of the garage scene, and I’ve never heard it so pathetically unjustified. I can’t stomach writing out their cheesed-out, weak-ass lyrics, but to give you an idea, they always say “fuck” and “motherfuckers” like they’re these cool new words that they invented and have never been uttered in a song before. Their delivery just drips – no, pours – with insincere coolness, which, of course, exposes their utmost lameness.

And of course, to top it all off, those “fucks” and “motherfuckers” are directed snidely at poseurs and hipsters. All teeth and knuckles, but clearly no sense of irony.

Bottom Line: Music for stupid assholes.
