I have a strange fetish for split CD’s. It’s like getting two sampler EP’s on one disc. It conserves space while allowing me to listen to two different bands without having to change the disc. This particular split CD comes from Flight Plan Records out of good old Pennsylvania. The split pits The Erection Kids against Title Fight. Title Fight pulls it out in the tenth round for the championship.

The Erection Kids sound like Limp musically but the vocals sound too much like the Rx Bandits for me to really get into. Title Fight plays a punk style that is comparable to Screeching Weasel. The vocals are rugged, the music is energetic and they win with one more song than the Erection Kids (5-4).

Hurrah for Title Fight, for they are the champeens!!!

Bottom Line: It’s a punk rock split CD boi! Whaddaya expect?
