I hate this CD, Pennywise or not. Its like the lyrics were written by an impressionable pre-teen reading Punk Planet for the first time: Religious and political leaders are hypocrites (duh), our civil rights are sometimes infringed upon (duh), media feeds lies (yawn), plus the mandatory anti-authority tune (called, what else, F**k Authority asterisks theirs ), and ugh a song about the WTO… called WTO.
Even the title of this album and the liner notes images of police in riot gear beating protestors screams the amateurish, eye-rolling political punk you’d expect from a rookie band. But its still Pennywise, so the music is decent and there are a handful of good, catchy songs (Time Marches On, Twist of Fate). But cmon, F**k Authority?? Lame-o-roony.
