The first two quick tracks are noisy but songful post-punk that don’t leave much impression. The next three tracks are downright Pixies-ish; fresh one-minute blasts of dissonant but appealing alternarock. The album ends with another lackluster tune. Jury’s still out whether these guys are worth it.
