A less-than-essential collection of Skarhead rarities and demos. If you like Skarhead or gritty, toughguy NYHC in general, you might dig this. A bit off topic, but have you noticed that every hardcore band that’s been around for any small amount of time has to put out a rarities collection when they break up? Soon you’ll have a hardcore band that’s been around for 6 months and released one 7″, putting out a full-length CD of crappy-sounding demos. I don’t know, this shit is cool for like Led Zeppelin or the Beatles, you know, rarities from the BBC or what have you, but for five-year old hardcore bands, maybe some demos are better left buried under the bed in a shoebox.
