Mellow indie bands can go either way. You can be disgusted with the boring pretentiousness of it all, or you can get sucked into the music like a ninja in a jet engine.

T*Shirt is thankfully the latter – they have a lovely narcotic quality, with charming vocals and fuzzy guitars that keep things interesting, while the rhythms and melodies remain fairly repetitive. The songs tend to blend into each other, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing when the music itself is good.
