It starts out with a minute of lo-fi breakbeat ambient, which I’m somewhat of a sucker for (thus my love for Broken Spindles). Then just as you’re feeling all warm n’ fuzzy, the second tune kicks you in the ass with post-punk frantic yelling and VERY good guitarwork that’s a bubbly cascade of one-note picking.

The vocals don’t return on the other tunes, but the music sometimes gets aggressively post-punk. For the most part, the rest of the album is above-average instrumental/math rock with that wonderful guitarwork (the ambient techno doesn’t return either, unfortunately).

Tera Melos is a band worth checking out if you’re into melodic math rock. Even if you’re not, they have a way of not being boring, even with their 6-8 minute songs.
