Do The Dog Records’ This Are U.K. Ska is now on it’s 4th volume, and features the best UK ska bands on their roster….or if not all of the bands on the roster. There are 21 tracks for you rudies to skank your asses off. I’ll save the skankin’ to you guys but I really liked this compilation.

Some of the bands featured on this 4th volume include: Cartoon Violence, Rasta4Eyes, Copasetics, Splitters, John Player Specials, Robb Blake, Liberation, Too Many Crooks, Smoke Like A Fish, Rebelation, and more! Cartoon Violence’s “Sons & Daughters” starts off the album to a great start. I can’t remember what I originally thought of Cartoon Violence when I reviewed their stuff but I enjoyed that track.

What I like about these compilations is hearing bands I don’t know, or didn’t think much when I originally heard them. John Player Specials, Jeremiah Ferrari, Miacca, and Liberation. I thought Liberation’s track was one of my favorites on the compilation. The majority of the tracks on here are pretty damn good and helps people get to know some bands they might not have known about until now.

Bottom Line: Excellent UK ska compilation that any newbie should check out!
Notable Bands: Cartoon Violence, John Player Specials, Robb Blake, Too Many Crooks, Liberation, Smoke Like A Fish, Inter City Crazy Train
