Chris Hardwick has become the King of the Nerds without appearing on some lame TBS game show. Quietly, he has built up this Nerd empire at Nerdist and now appears as the go-to-guy for hosting things like the Talking Dead, Comic Con panels, BBC series and other nerdy/geeky things. Everywhere you look, he’s there. I don’t mind since I’ve always found him funny, even back in the Singled Out days. Besides that, he has one of the most popular podcasts out there and continues having success in stand-up as well.

I Highly Recommend This is another stand-up CD/DVD from comedian, actor Kyle Cease. Or also known as, the slow clapper in Not Another Teen Movie. The album is 13 tracks, and was recorded in 2010 in Denver at Comedy Works. While others may enjoy his stand-up, I simply just don’t get it.

I don’t really listen too many comedy albums besides George Carlin’s old albums, Louis C.K., Bill Burr and Todd Barry. It’s something about Todd’s stand-up act that I find amusing. His deadpan delivery is perfect. “Super Crazy” is just as funny as his previous stand-up albums.

He’s the type of comedian that plays music while telling jokes & stories, something similar to Zach Galifianakis. He also reminds me of Mitch Hedberg.

I liked Joe Rogan from Newsradio and Fear Factor, but I haven’t really liked his comedy all that much. I think the reason why I don’t usually like his stand-up is because he shouts EVERYTHING! Joe, it’s a microphone you’re talking into it, you don’t need to shout. You’re not on Wrestlemania. With that said, this stand-up is pretty funny.

Some of you know Nick Swardson as the gay roller-skating prostitute on Reno 911 or the guy from Grandma’s Boy but he’s also a comedian. You maybe have seen Aziz Ansari before; maybe in Parks & Recreation or Scrubs or Human Giant? First and foremost, Aziz is a stand-up comedian and that’s how he started out with his career. This debut CD/DVD “Intimate Moments for a Sensual Evening” is from his Comedy Central special. It aired in January 2010, but this performance was recorded and filmed towards the end of his Glow In The Dark tour in Los Angeles at Brentwood Theatre.
