What extracurricular activities were you involved in during high school? Was your band one of them?
Before I was playing in bands, I did some martial arts. I’ve actually got a black belt in Isshinryu Karate. I wasn’t any good at any other sports though.
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Strength – amazing hand-eye coordination thanks to years of dedicated video gaming.
Weakness – sore thumbs.
Why did you choose this career?
When I picked up my first guitar at 16, I knew I wanted to play music for the rest of my life. I wouldn’t trade this lifestyle for anything.
How would your professors describe you?
Unmotivated
What did you learn from your summer jobs?
I was a lifeguard, and I learned that that job isn’t as fun as it looks on TV.
Explain a situation in which you had a conflict and how you resolved it. What would you do differently? Why?

What qualifications do you have beyond academics that qualify you to make a successful transition into business?
Touring and running a DIY band for 3 years. It really helped when we started this band, we got a great head start.
Describe your greatest accomplishment.
Playing a sold out crowd (about 2000 people) in Columbus OH.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Still doing this.

Stay in school. Or don’t, things will work out.
