The Shins have been working on a new album apparently, and to hold us over, frontman James Mercer has given fans a sneak peek at a new song called “Dead Alive.” You can watch the video below.

I’m digging the new song which kind of, believe it or not, has a bit of upstroke/ska beat to it in the keys. Maybe i’m just hearing things….
