I know this trailer was supposed to come out soon but don’t you think it’s a little convenient that it premieres the day after author Tom Clancy passed away? In any event, I love the Jack Ryan series with Patriot Games being my favorite. Sum of All Fear tried to reboot the series with Ben Affleck but it just didn’t pick up traction. Hopefully this will spawn a few sequels if this is a good film. The trailer looks interesting and has a great cast so I’m definitely intrigued!
Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit stars Chris Pine, Keira Knightley, Kevin Costner, Peter Andersson, Kenneth Branagh, David Paymer and Colm Feore. Kenneth Branagh is directing the film as well.
