Legendary english punk rockers, The Adicts, have signed with DC-Jam Records to deliver the band’s tenth studio release and the group’s first new material in over three years.

The album, which will be recorded next month, will be produced and engineered by Derek O’Brien (Social Distortion, Adolescents) at D.O.B. Sound Studios in Los Angeles and is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2012.

Founded in 1976, The Adicts originated as The Pinz. They soon changed their name to The Adicts and became known for their distinctive Clockwork Orange droog image, which, along with their urgent, uptempo music and light-hearted lyrics, helped set them apart from other punk bands of their generation.

“We are really excited to be a part of the DC-Jam roster and can’t wait to get into the studio to start laying this record out. We believe these new songs may be our best material yet”, stated founding member and frontman Monkey.
