Damian Marley and Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise have announced plans and the partial lineup for the reggae festival, which will embark on November 14 for 5 days on Royal Caribbean. Some of the artists announced for the cruise includes Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Stephen “Ragga” Marley, Toots & The Maytals, Steel Pulse, Sean Paul, and more (the rest below). Welcome To Jamrock Reggae Cruise, the annual music voyage spearheaded by Grammy-winning artist Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, announces plans for its third expedition across the Caribbean Sea. Cruisers will board the Royal Caribbean Independence of the Seas on November 14th, 2016 from Ft. Lauderdale, FL and will make stops in Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, Jamaica before returning on November 19th, 2016. This year’s lineup will include Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Stephen “Ragga” Marley, Toots & The Maytals, Steel Pulse, Sean Paul, Tarrus Riley, Bounty Killer, Mavado, Vegas, Junior Reid, Collie Buddz, Chaka Demus & Pliers, Romain Virgo, J Boog and Kabaka Pyramid. There will also be numerous sound systems and DJs onboard playing music all day and night, which will be announced at a later date.

In addition to witnessing the world’s top tier reggae stars in action, passengers aboard the Royal Caribbean can enjoy multiple dining facilities, bars and lounges plus activites for every mood. Those seeking relaxation can visit the spa or one of the many pools and hot tubs, while adventure seekers can burn off some steam at the mini-golf course, basketball court, surf simulator, rock-climbing wall or state-of-the-art fitness center.

Jamrock has taken the reggae industry by storm as being the most exciting and talked about Reggae festival in the world. Jamrock 2015 had over 40 nations from all over the globe converging for their love of reggae music and the culture it emerged from. Earlier this year, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley announced he has become the newest artist-owner of Tidal, the first artist-owned streaming service in the world.
