Diwali Gold Edition brings you one of the biggest riddims in the last few years, most of which have heard one of these dance hall anthems one place or another. 22 tracks featuring Sean Paul, Bounty Killer, and Wayne Wonder. Diwali, the Festival of Lights in India, is a major holiday in India and through this riddim, is a party and a way of celebrating with this world class riddim.
With this riddim record, Diwali brings together some of the biggest dance hall hits and as always it’s the same riddim beat over and over. While some are great, and some are not so hot. I find with these compilations to navigate to the people you enjoy first and then check out other artists after to see if they are worth checking out more.
Bottom Line: A strong compilation featuring some heavy hitters in dance hall like Elephant Man, Sean Paul and Bounty Killer
