From Inside is based on a graphic novel by John Bergin. It’s about a tale of a young pregnant woman on a damaging train in apocalyptic landscape. Well based on the score alone, this wasn’t a bundle of joy to listen and the movie sounds just as bleak.

The score from Brett Smith is very, very, very minimalistic. I mean, you have to crank this up to even tell that there’s music playing. It’s effective though, because it gives off that eerie feeling. I’m sure it works wonders for the movie but as a stand-alone, this was a bore.

Bottom Line: Not an interesting score but probably works with the movie
