Intercept’s latest album is called “Magnolia Road,” and I’m not sure what to think of it. I never heard of Intercept before but I think the band sounds too emo and is too soft for my liking.

The band isn’t just emo; there are a lot of other genres evident in their songs. Folk, acoustic rock, pop music come to mind as well. I think if the band played songs like “Imaginary Friends,” I might have liked this album more. I like folk rock, and acoustic rock so that song stood out. But I think the band needs to tone down the pussiness.

Bottom Line: Too emo
Notable Tracks: Imaginary Friends
