They feature a former member of the Huntingtons, so I was anticipating really great/cute pop-punk. Instead, they’re down n’ dirty punk n’ roll, but I’m still pleased.

They’re produced by the guy who produced Zeke and Murder City Devils, but The Stivs have a less abrasive sound, a bit more in the vein of Electric Frank and the Gaza Strippers. Songs about rock n’ roll under two minutes – can’t go wrong with that.
