Wow, it’s been too long since our last ska punk show because we’ve haven’t had time, and if we go to a concert, it’s usually a comedy show now. Those things are fucking expensive! Anyway, we got at the show late because we were only there for the Pilfers basically. Matt and I came in right at Blink Fizzlewink. They played decent, but acted like, well Blink 182. hehehe I said Poopie, hehehe Masturbation..hehehe. I think the bouncers were getting sick of them because they keep looking at their watches and taking away they whipped cream that they kept spraying over each other.

Next up was the Schematics. I’ve seen these guys a couple of times before at the Chance. They always seem to get the crowd going. I remember the trumpet player in the local ska band Lettuce Boy. I wish they would stick to the faster songs because I don’t really like when they slow it down. Though that’s just my opinion. Next up was Next To Nothing. Um, they didn’t sound like they were playing together. The previous times I’ve seen them, they seemed to play together but not that night.

Finally The Pilfers came up. I decided that I wouldn’t be an old fart and go up in front to sing. Everybody’s saying something that the Pilfers are changing and yadda yadda yadda, but I don’t see a difference. The only difference I see is Coolie’s hair. It seems like something different everytime I see them. They played a lot of songs from both albums, and I lost my voice from singing to the songs. Coolie gave me the mic a couple of times, but after that I blink, there’s the mic in my face, then I feel like a schmuck. Oh Well. They played about 4 new songs, some that I heard before. For the new songs Coolie was trying to explain to the crowd what to say, and the mic was so loud or muffled and I even couldn’t comprehend. I like how they add this loud bass to some of there songs. Anywho, the show was okay, Pilfers and the Schematics both played good sets.
