Sophomore album from Kingston, Jamaica’s T.O.K, aka ‘Touch of Klass’ aka
‘Taking Over Kingston’ is sure to be hit this summer. “Unknown Language” is
a blend of Dancehall, R&B, Hip Hop and the newest rage, Reggaeton. T.O.K
are considered to be a reggae-boy band with the quartet harmonizing their
vocals, and mixing that with deejaying, which makes TOK unique. The ladies
will surely love this group, because they are all young guys who can sing
well. Ya know, that’s one of the reasons to start a group. Groupies! I’m
sure that won’t be a problem since they are getting plenty of airplay on
MTV, and BET.

Bottom Line: This record is going to be big with the dancehall-R&B fanbase, but I didn’t really like it. I love reggae, but this is more of the Hip hop reggae.
Notable Tracks: Fire Fire, Survivor, No Way Jose
