Chuck Ragan announces 7 show tour for September
Music News | Jul 16th, 2013
Chuck Ragan announced a few shows for September. He will be making a stop at Riot Fest Chicago on September 15th and Riot Fest Denver on September 22nd plus random shows in the Midwest. The support will come from Jamestown Revival. These dates are probably scheduled around places Chuck wants to go fishing at. We’re onto you Mr. Ragan.
Ragan’s music provides a soundtrack for blue-collar Americans – honest music for the working class. His powerful voice will cause the hairs on the back on your neck to stand up as he wails and croons throughout the set. Jon Gaunt (fiddle) and Joe Ginsberg (upright bass) will be joined by special guests Todd Beene (Lucero, Glossary) on pedal steel and Dave Hidalgo (Social Distortion) on drums to add even more intensity to an already emotional performance.
Ragan has already logged thousands of miles this year in the US and Canada on The Revival Tour, which has been an annual tour since 2008. His most recent album Covering Ground was released in 2011 via SideOneDummy Records. Catch him on tour in September for more acoustic-laden storytelling and even more unforgettable improvisational moments!
