Quirky, experimental nerd-rock that is shrill and irritating but not without its bizarre charm. It sounds like very early Atom & His Package screeching old Muppet Show ditties in the shower. Come to think of it, it’s quite awful.
I guess I like that the singer sounds happy and possibly autistic, even if the music barely coalesces into anything listenable. I can’t in good faith recommend Manicorn to human ears, but part of me envies the fever-delirium world they live in.
Bottom Line: Not sure if it qualifies as music, but play on, Manicorn! Play on and find yourselves!
