Playing Enemy is “anti-melody,” which I think means “anti-good.”

Hey man, dissonance is a wonderful thing, but only when you got something to compare it to. I appreciate the attempt to write the music all minor key and off-key and kooky shit like that, but the ears can only take so much of that. These guys would be great on a comp, like right after the Beatles, just to shake shit up, but on its own, it’s sort of like drinking sour mix straight out of the bottle.
