Shell Corporation plays solid melodic punk and post-hardcore with a fun, fuck-you-style skatepunk attitude. The approach sometimes come off as a little forced, but the music is pretty cool. It didn’t quite rock my nuts off, but it came close.

Interestingly, the band is made up of members of Time Again, Madcap, and The Briggs – I actually have to downgrade this album by half a star, because while this album is pretty good, I expect more from such a punky pedigree.

Bottom Line: Melodic punk with a punk rock boner.
