Sweet Little Machine hail from Sheffield, UK and have a big sounding pop punk sound. I was completely blown away by their new EP Monsters and I think you’ll be too! If Sweet Little Machine doesn’t get popular in the next few years, I’ll be surprised because this band has the right sound to make it over in the States. They will definitely get more known if they play Warped Tour. They have that rousing pop punk sound that is perfect for that type of tour.

The opening track on the EP is “Kill The Heroes,” and right off the bat, the band’s catchy choruses and hooks are noticeable. You can tell their influences is American rock and pop punk from the ‘90s. I’m curious to see how Sweet Little Machine is live because I’d think this would be an energetic band to see. There’s plenty of choruses to sing along to and point your fingers in the air when they scream “whoa whoa whoa…” The other track that is really damn good is the second track “Hurricanes.” Even when the song slows down half way through, it’s still catchy as hell in an American Authors sort of way. Just not as annoying. The title track “Monsters” is another highlight. Who am I kidding, the entire EP is just awesome pop punk.

I can’t say enough good things about this EP and think you’ll love it just as much as I did. Sweet Little Machine weren’t picked Fireball’s Hottest Band of 2017 in the UK for nothing. If you go to the Reel Big Fish, Anti-Flag, Mad Caddies tour, be sure to get there early to see this band! If you can’t go to the tour, get this EP; you won’t regret it!

Bottom Line: Catchy as hell pop punk band from the UK!
Notable Tracks: Kill The Heroes, Hurricanes, Monsters
