Jim Breuer is back with another comedy special DVD, and this time, he’s more mature and ready to “Clear the Air.” Ah, see what I did there? Many know Jim Breuer from back in the day on Saturday Night Live with his popular sketches like “Goat Boy,” and “Joe Pesci Show,” and let’s not forget, Half Baked. Every stoner’s favorite film apparently. Countless comedy tours, and his popular radio show on Sirius, Jim Breuer is more settled in these days and now he’s ready to talk about his life in a new perspective.

Now that Breuer is a few years older and wiser, it’s time for him to open up about his family, and his career. In this brand new special, Jim Breuer tackles everything from his infamous “Goat Boy,” impression to the reason he always looks high, and to being a parent. Its funny how Breuer can still be treated like some stoner his entire life, though I don’t think he does that as much as people think he does. He certainly has that “look” but it’s just the way he is, and certainly now that he is a father of 3 and husband he’s not out partying as much as he used to. Growing up in the suburbs of Long Island, Jim Breuer has stories that most people in the country can relate to as far as Suburbia in America. I never laughed harder when Breuer told stories of 4th of July fireworks setting the family dog off or the Bully on the block trying to force the kids to play stick ball with him. Something in Jim’s stand up that everyone can relate to at some point. These days, it’s all about growing older and not being able to do the things you used to. It’s depressing that we aren’t all kids anymore, but you have that to look forward in your own kids and the stories you can share together.

With all new material, Jim Breuer delivers a solid performance and definitely some great laughs too. There are only two extras on the disc and if you are Breuer fans you will definitely enjoy this as well. As usual fans can catch Jim on tour and weekly on his Sirius Satellite radio show “Breuer Unleashed.”
