Hi i’m going to tell you about the concert in Hershey on may 23. Uhh I was in school waiting for 12 o clock to come so I could meet my friends phee and katie so we could go to the concert! we got there around 2 and just waited around doing some tours and riding the monorails for about a good 5 and half hours.
We bought some merch before the concert started and we were like the first in line. anyway…. the show started right on time and saves the day came on a 7:30 ( I was really surprised). they played a few songs and I couldn’t see a thing cuz the sun was in my eyes and not to mention some kid with no shirt on was ramming into everyone and thought he was the funniest motherfucker on earth.well we survived the one song and dragged ourselves out of the pit to get some air and some water. When we got back they were playing ”At Your Funeral” and everyone was singing. But like 3 songs later they were done.
We waited around for a while and then came green day……woooo…… well let me tell you, I don’t know much about green day and I wasn’t a fan until last night.they were amazing, they had the crowd sing with them and billie joe had an orgasm…wee. anyway they played tons of songs with a lot a lot a lot of energy, billie joe brought out a super soaker and sprayed everyone. Then one of the best parts is when they played OPIV ”KNOWLEDGE” it was amazing..first of all me and like 3 other people knew the words..regardless, they brought kids up on stage to play the instruments!!!! it was the coolest fucking thing in the world! then he let the kid keep the guitar after the kid did a solo…then he wouldn’t let the bassist kid or drummer kid just climb off stage, they had to crowd surf. anyway they played a whole butt load of songs and then just when you thought they were done….they played time of your life which was soooo cool.
Then for the last song they played minority. Oh yea through out there set they had a little ska with a chicken man and a sombero man playing brass and there background thingy kept on changing it was cool well then blink came on…i love blink and I always have since cheshire. But anyway..i was really really let down. No energy, you couldn’t even hear tom and when you could he was fucking it up. It was cool when they played carousel…and somewhere in between the set travis did a solo and his set was in the air doing flips ….that was amazing…they changed the lyrics in adams song with a line and they made a lot of poop jokes since we were at hershey…not a bad show but they could of done better all in all green day should of headlined and take the hershey tour, it smells like chocolate and you get free candy..wee
