Ready to rumble was an exercise in pointlessness.

There’s not much to say other than that. It seamed that the target audience was adolescent male wrestling fans, with an I.Q. less than 70. Some of the jokes were funny but were mostly slapstick body bashing, and childish one liners about body parts or functions.

The plot was pretty simplistic but I didn’t go to this movie expecting anything else. I wouldn’t even suggest this as a rental, as watching it would be a terrible was of a short attention span.
