Why did you want to be in a band? Chicks right?
HA! We just wanted something to do. If we did it for the chicks, we’d be playing country music.
How would you describe the music you play?
Rock.
Why did you name the band Small Brown Bike? Was every band name taken?
We named the band after a bike that we put together in middle school. It was a frankenstein made of old parts from other bikes.
Would you be pissed if every internet geek shared your music freely or do you think it’s more important for kids to show up at your shows?
I don’t really have a big problem with it. People have been making mix tapes and sending them in the mail for years. Now it’s faster and it sounds better. I think that it can be a great thing for smaller bands trying to get their songs out there.
Would you ever consider joining a Weird Al cover band?
No.

What would you be more afraid of: Being locked in the same room with OJ, or sleeping over at Michael Jackson’s place?
Neverland.

Alec Baldwin.
What’s cooler: Big wheels or Hot Wheels?
Hot Wheels.
Has there been any bad incidents at your shows? Like fights, tomato throwing, injuries, etc.?
We’ve had the occasional fight at our show, but nothing too ridiculous.
What’s next for Small Brown Bike?
Tour and then tour some more.
