Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem covers Tony Sly for Fat Wreck Tribute album

USA Today premiered a Tony Sly cover “Capo 4th Fret” from Brian Fallon. The Songs Of Tony Sly: A Tribute will be out next Tuesday, October 29th from Fat Wreck Chords.
The compilation also features bands such as Rise Against, Bad Religion, Yellowcard, The Bouncing Souls, Alkaline Trio, Frank Turner, NOFX and many more, “Capo 4th Fret” is Fallon’s reflective rendition of Sly’s gorgeous song from his solo album 12 Song Program.

“When I met Tony it was at a festival and it was chaos,” Fallon says. “He was the only other guy who seemed to be in search of a quiet spot. We didn’t say much to each other, we just had one of those strange meetings where you feel you’re on the same side. Tony’s song Capo 4th Fret reminded me of trying to make something of the chaos.”
