Carolina Sessions festival in Myrtle Beach, SC was postponed due to Hurricane Joaquin at the beginning of the month. The rescheduled date has been announce and will be happening April 9th at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion. 311, SOJA, Passafire and Stick Figure are confirmed right now with more to be announced soon. The 3rd annual California Roots: The Carolina Sessions Festival has been rescheduled for April 9, 2016 at Myrtle Beach Pavilion in Myrtle Beach, SC. The lineup includes 311, SOJA, Stick Figure, and Passafire, with more artists to be announced soon. The Carolina Sessions was postponed from its original October 3rd date due to inclement weather caused by Hurricane Joaquin, which brought record setting rain to the region.

Festival Co-Producer Dan Sheehan states, “Safety for our fans, artists, and staff is our top priority and the decision to act swiftly to postpone the festival was indeed the right one. We are thrilled to have a new date already set and our bringing back top tier talent with 311, SOJA, Stick Figure and Passafire already reconfirmed.”

California Roots: The Carolina Sessions seamlessly combines music, art and environmental consciousness to create an atmosphere of unity, peace and creative flow. From the bands and artists that grace the stage, to the beautiful setting of Myrtle Beach Pavilion directly on the South Carolina coastline, every aspect of the festival has been planned to make for the most positive experience for each and every fan.

The Carolina Sessions is the companion festival to the California Roots Music and Arts Festival, a three-day event held annually in Monterey, California. The Carolina Sessions aims to take all the good vibes and positive roots music that the West Coast festival has to offer and bring it to the East Coast.

All tickets from the original October 3rd date are good for the rescheduled April 9th date.
