Hoods sign with I Scream Records

I Scream Records signed hardcore band The Hoods to a worldwide deal. The band’s long-awaited new album “Pit Beast” is set for release in May 2009. Hoods are on tour in North America in April 2009 and will invade Europe in May 2009. Make sure to check ’em out at a venue near you.
Hoods were founded in Sacramento, CA, in 1995 by Mike Hoods, who has grown into a Hardcore institution. Their music is a call to arms for all of those who have grown tired watching Hardcore be exploited and bastardized. Mike Hood has used his years of experience to craft one of the most brutal and honest West Coast Hardcore bands ever. Hoods have released several albums on a number of independents.
