Sorry Folks, No Image Is Here.

This fall Matisyahu is heading back on the road for an impressive 40-date North American tour, with backing band Dub Trio, in support of his new album Light. This time around Matisyahu has aligned himself with Posse for a groundbreaking artist-fan collaboration.

After a wildly successful Summer tour previewing songs from Light, Matisyahu becomes the first major American artist to team up with Posse, an Australian based peer-to-per ticketing method that rewards fans for actively promoting concerts. The partnership enables Matisyahu fans to recommend and sell tickets for gigs in their area via their personal social networking profiles.

Already a hit in its creator’s home Down Under, Posse can be used by anyone over the age of 13 simply by becoming a member. Fans log onto www.posse.com and download apps, links, and banners that they can post across the web on their blogs and profiles on MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, etc. As fans promote their favorite artists’ shows, they will earn commission on every ticket sale they help make. As an added bonus, a special prize will be awarded to the top national ticket seller, as well as two free tickets and a meet and greet with Matisyahu for the top seller in each market.
